September is the New January - Amazon Fitness Gear

Summer is over, beach vacations have come and gone, and the kids are back in school. Hopefully, you’ve spent your summer engaged in fun activities with friends and family, moving your body more and eating healthier, lighter meals.

But, as the days get shorter and the weather gets cooler, we tend to slow down, stay inside more and crave comfort food. For me, this means putting on a few pounds. Between now and Christmas, I will indulge in cozy sweaters, hot chocolate, mashed potatoes and Netflix marathons.

I’m not implying that I will change any of those things, however; I am hoping that by adding some new workout gear, I’ll be able to maintain my summer bod a little longer.

Here are a few fitness favorites for motivation:

Hydro Flask

I like this water bottle for two reasons; one, the wide mouth makes it easy to add ice and two, the insulated design keeps my water cold for hours.

Adidas Ultraboost

Light weight and designed to fit like a second skin. It took a few wearings to get use to these, but now they are my go to for training. Costly, but worth the investment for overall quality and comfort.

Nike Pegasus

a long time personal favorite, has been redesigned with a slimmer heel and less bulk.

Nike AirPods

I’m so much more productive when I listen to music, audio books or podcasts while I workout or clean my house. These wireless headphones are liberating, no more wires to get in the way and slow me down.

High Waisted Leggings

I’m a fan of workout pants with pockets big enough to stash my phone. These are a great option, less expensive than the more popular brands.

Athletic Wear with Built-in Sun Protection

These brands design and create clothing that protect you from the harmful rays of the sun and help prevent skin cancer. They come in lots of styles and colors for women, men and children.

Hats and Visors

To keep the sun out of your eyes and protect your face from harmful UV rays. Perfect for golf, boating, tennis, running, walking, gardening or watching your kids play sports.

Sweaty Band

A headband that stays put, doesn't fall out during workouts and comes in lots of colors.

Kaenon

Polarized sunglasses designed in California for an outside, active lifestyle.

Backpacks and Duffle Bags

Perfect for stashing everything you need for the gym, yoga studio and hiking.

Sports Bras with Extra Support

When I workout, I want a sports bra that holds the girls in place without bounce. These options offer stellar support and look cute.
