Dog Mom Status
Meet my first born child, Lucia.
Lucia is high energy, full of spirit, and the best piece of velcro we’ve ever bought.
She is goofy, makes us laugh and loves harder than we could ever imagine.
Some people say that millennials do the most for their dogs and we are proof of that statement.
At work, my coworkers are talking about managing drop off and pick up of daycare with their spouses and I chime in. Jacob always does drop off and I always do pick up! We have mastered our 2-3 times a week daycare routine! The girls laugh, but I get class photos and report cards. I don’t know what we would do without it!
Jacob gave me a checklist before we could get a dog; the dog had to be female, a brown GSP (German Shorthaired Pointer) and pick up needed to be in June when I could stay home and housebreak her, aka potty train... little did he know that was all I needed to get the okay!
Before he knew it, I had found a wonderful breeder and litter due in late April.
Lucia has brought so much joy to our lives, we can’t even imagine what life was like before her.
We are approaching her 2nd birthday and girlfriend still doesn’t skip a beat! She is either going
60mph or asleep!
