Should You Hire a Wedding Planner

We were hesitant to hire an event planner, not sure if we really needed one, but it was one of the best decisions we made for our daughter’s wedding.  

Speaking from a Mother of the Bride perspective, Brooke Lauber-Cobb and her team at BEE FOR THE DAY , were a Godsend! 

The thought of trying to plan a wedding from across the country was daunting. I live in California and our daughter lives in Ohio. The wedding was held lakeside at Catawba Island Club, in Ohio. The process started with an introduction phone call from Brooke. She was warm, professional, detail oriented, and you could tell that she genuinely wanted everything to be perfect. 

After hanging up the phone, she immediately emailed us questions and checklists and from that moment on, we knew we were in good hands.

She recommended fabulous vendors, created a timeline and made sure everyone stuck to it, she made phone calls and coordinated deliveries, anticipated and handled issues and gave great advice. 

On the day of the wedding, she and her team arrived early and oversaw the ENTIRE set up. They made sure the caterers, seating, decor, music, cake, photographer and entire wedding party were ready and in place on time. They greeted our family and friends as if they were their own.

She even made sure that the Grandparents were treated extra special and got their piece of cake first 😘
